Who is responsible for this tool?

This tool is an initiative of CCE, Centre for Consultation and Expertise.

You can turn to CCE for expertise concerning severe challenging behaviour in people with a disorder or a permanent disability, who need long-term professional care and support.

CCE focuses on the most complex care questions: those that care professionals cannot resolve and that have a serious impact on a client's quality of life. With our expertise, professionals and care organizations can better understand existing challenging behaviour and prevent future challenging behaviour.

The information in this tool has been compiled by combining current medical knowledge with expertise acquired during consultations. CCE regularly reviews and revises the tool to keep it up to date.
